The challenge will be depicting the faces of the women, as well as keeping the white background unsoiled through the stitching process.

There is a thought present as I prepare for the day and roll right back into a new Station and completing some other projects too: what if the next 6 months are as intense as the last?

After 6 months of sustained creation, I have gotten to the halfway point in this profound pilgrimage.

This station is much darker - in tone and in colour! - than the other Stations, but I'm excited to dive into it.

Station #5 has brought me into the process of creating in a very physical, bodily way.

As I begin Station 6, I am reminded of the balance of feeling ready and pushing through regardless of if I do!

The work on Station 5 has been the most physically tolling process yet!

A wild goose chase?? Not quite ... but certainly an exciting energy to this Station!

I am about 10 days into bringing this Station to life in fabric, and it was one where I was hesitant how it would come together.

I have lived the Stations of the Cross for over 15 years, and yes, it lives strongly and deeply within me.
